Our weekend workshops are an introduction to basic throwing skills by an experienced potter. Come spend two hours exploring the world of clay in our friendly professional clay studio. This is the perfect way to observe a demonstration up close and to try your hand at this centuries-old craft! These 2 hour, one-time workshops are designed for hands-on experimenting with clay and the pottery wheel. Beginners are welcome, and experienced potters will get the opportunity to further develop their skills. The workshop cost includes a return visit to our drop in painting studio to decorate and glaze one of your items. Your other items can be decorated, glazed and fired for an additional cost!

Please arrive on time as other people may be participating in the workshop. Please wear clothes you’re comfortable getting messy in, as well as a small towel and something to tie up long hair! Due to space restrictions in the studio, all creations must be collected within 45 days.

AGE: 16 years and older, including adult groups.
 

WORKSHOP SCHEDULE, for 2 Classes, 1st class to Throw on the Wheel, 2nd Class to come and paint your pieces, We do fire both time.

Saturday   11:00 am – 1:00 pm OR 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm  Elise is teaching these classes

TIME: 2 hours (one-time)

COST: $69.00 + HST per workshop. Fee includes instruction, use of tools, clay, bisque firing and a return visit to decorate and glaze one of your pieces, $5-$10.00 to paint extra pieces, depending on the size.

Cost: $275.00 + HST for 6 days, Fee includes instruction, use of tools, clay, bisque firing and a return visit to decorate and glaze one of your pieces, Each Class, 5-$10.00 to paint extra pieces depending on the size.
